COST: $1.2 million spent since May 2004.
BENEFITS: “PS does not gather or track statistical data with respect to the number of firearms prosecutions initiated or successfully prosecuted.”

EXCERPT #2: CANADA BORDER SERVICES AGENCY (CBSA)
COST: $19.95 Million spent since May 2004
BENEFITS: “The CBSA was successful in 536 successful firearms persecutions.”

EXCERPT #3: ROYAL CANADIAN MOUNTED POLICE (RCMP)
COST: $104.35 million spent since May 2004
BENEFITS: “Under ICCUF, the RCMP provided investigative support to law enforcement and did not initiate firearm prosecutions. As such, these statistics are not available.”
