RCMP SAY THEY HAVE NO STOLEN GUN REPORTS FROM GUN OWNERS WHO SUSPECT THEIR GOVERNMENT FIREARMS INFORMATION WAS ACCESSED BY CRIMINALS
REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE: Before I write the Information Commissioner complaining that the RCMP failed to conduct an adequate search for these records, I would ask any gun owner to share their stories with me if you have filed a stolen gun complaint with the RCMP, your local police, your Member of Parliament describing your concerns about criminals having access to your government firearms information. I don’t need a copy of your report only that you made one, the date you made the report and to whom you made the report.
Please send details about your stolen gun reports to: Dennis R. Young, 1330 Ravenswood Drive SE, Airdrie, Alberta T4A 0P8 Phone: 587-360-1111 E-Mail: mailto:email@example.com Website: https://www.dennisryoung.ca
- Mr. Trudeau stated, “The only ideology that must guide us is evidence – Hard, scientific facts and data. It may seem revolutionary in today’s Ottawa, but instead of inventing the facts to justify the policies, we will create policy based on facts. Solutions can come from the left or the right, all that matters is that they work.”
- Minister Goodale said. “We want to be an evidence-based government making sound decisions on the basis of hard facts.”
- Liberal Party Real Change Promise – Evidence-based policy: Government should base its policies on facts, not make up facts based on policy. Without evidence, government makes arbitrary decisions that have the potential to negatively affect the daily lives of Canadians. We need reliable economic indicators and data for sound economic policy, and to provide other governments, businesses, and civil society with the tools to enrich our national life. A Liberal government will ensure the federal government rebuilds its capacity to deliver on evidence-based decision-making.
