OPEN LETTER #3 TO SENATORS Re: A THOUSAND GUNS REPORTED LOST BY OR STOLEN FROM POLICE AND THE MILITARY – One would think it should be easy to obtain updated numbers from the RCMP on these lost and stolen firearms – it is not. By Dennis R. Young – November 30, 2018
HOW MUCH DOES GOVERNMENT SPEND ON FIREARMS PROGRAMS? Parliament is still in the dark. By Dennis R. Young – Nov 25, 2018
RE: IMPORTANT QUESTIONS ABOUT BILL C-71 STILL NEED ANSWERS – On April 25, 2018 Larry Maguire, MP for Brandon-Souris, introduced three Order Paper Questions in the House of Commons asking the Government some very important questions that need answers before Bill C-71 is made the law of the land. On June 11, 2018, Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale tabled the Government’s responses. The problem is many of the questions Larry Maguire asked of the government were left unanswered. By Dennis R. LETTER TO PRIME MINISTER EMBEDDED IN THIS PETITION: SHOULDN’T POLICE KNOW WHERE THESE BAD GUYS WITH GUNS LIVE?
EXCERPT: Criminal law requires more than two million lawful, licensed firearms owners to report their change of address. It seems a significant oversight in our criminal justice system that a similar law does not also apply to hundreds of thousands of convicted criminals who have been prohibited from owning firearms by the courts. Please introduce our proposed Motion in the House of Commons for a full debate and a free vote by all Members of Parliament. NOTE: Justin Trudeau has been named as the decision maker for this petition and will be notified periodically as the signature count rises.

PETITION TO PRIME MINISTER TRUDEAU: SHOULDN’T POLICE KNOW WHERE THESE BAD GUYS WITH GUNS LIVE? We residents of Canada call on the Government to pass a motion making it mandatory for judges when imposing a firearms prohibition order, as part of a criminal sentence, a protection order or restraining order, also make it mandatory for these persons to report any change of address to police and this information be made available to police in a database on CPIC (Canadian Police Information Centre).
