Public Safety Canada was asked for copies of records with the actual ‘evidence’ amassed by the government since firearms were categorized as unrestricted, restricted and prohibited proving the classification system was reducing the ‘risk to public safety’.

Minister Goodale’s department responded:

“A thorough search was conducted and Public Safety Canada was unable to locate any records responding to your request.”

This is either a lie or serious RCMP incompetence; my opinion, its the later.
There are many examples of RCMP incompetence. Placing the RCMP in total
control of any law is a giant step towards a police state.
