should be very severe penalties for illegal gun smugglers and those that commit any crime of severity, and especially with an illegal weapon
Interesting – larger Caibre sporting rifles (416 Weatherby, 460 Weatherby & Rigby) not sure about 375 Weatherby – would appear to exceed allowable ft/lb’s
All the technical information in the document is well and good, but does absolutely nothing to address the real problem with firearms. The courts just let a habitual firearms smuggler go free. He should have received 18 years at a minimum for all his crimes. He had been in pretrial custody for 5 years and the court said he could go free for time served. Of course they attached several conditions to his probation but this young man has a long list of ignoring his conditions for numerous previous firearms crimes.
