More likely they just lie when saying they use the information to respond differently so as to justify the continuation of the whole licensing system and it’s tie-in to CPIC. I know several RCMP and other police officers and they all tell me they treat every domestic disturbance call as potentially having firearms present (as common sense would dictate).
